ok, hm, i LOVE your theory about Sherlock's acting, it's AMAZING, ur awesome. and while i read that whole thing, i remember this: in the books, Holmes gets very surprised when Moriarty comes at 221B, but in the series Sherlock seems so different, so calm, i don't know. If I remember correctly, John calls Sherlock and warns him that Moriarty is out and will be coming after him, so maybe that’s why Sherlock doesn’t seem surprised in the BBC version? I made the whole thing up, so I’d be very surprised if that’s what actually happened. XD I watched TRF once at a normal speed and then 3 more times at a fast speed, stopping at “relevant” parts. I hope I get a more exciting job, too – I swear, the only thing that keeps me from quitting ~~and going on an adventure~~ is the student loan I’m paying off. :P

I saw this ancient bee coin from aleyma.tumblr.com on my dash, and I just wanted it so badly because bees. I made a silver replica to use as a pendant, and it’s all pretty and sparkly, but I’m comparing the pictures now, and of course – the 387-301 BC coin looks like a real bee, whereas my bee looks like a smiling, deranged lunatic.

Haven't read your entire blog yet, so, apologies if you covered this, but, what about the possibility that Richard Brook really was just an actor, whom Moriarty trained/brainwashed into thinking he was Moriarty? Doesn't it seem odd that someone that brilliant, with everything seemingly going their way would commit suicide so readily?

The writers mentioned that Moriarty is really dead and not coming back, so I interpreted his suicide as a mixture of boredom and insanity. Your ideas are a lot better and would make for a more interesting storyline, I think. ❤ Check out finalproblem’s blog for more theories!

Is there any importance to the constant references to the German Language and/or Vienna in Sherlock? There is at least one reference in every single episode, often more... is there history perhaps, or something that I am missing? Clues you know? Brilliant theories, by the way.

His coat is done up, he never has his coat done up....possibly something underneath it. He throws his phone away because he keeps it on the inside of his coat and cannot undo it to put it away. In the first episode he says that he prefers to text so would he not just text John 'goodbye, I am a fake'? Though this may be used for more impact upon the audience, he could have been recording his message to show Moriarty's associates that he is definitely dead and will be no threat. I don't know!!

In your IOU explanation for the Sherlock series, you interpret the numbers as all representing stories, but I was wondering if you used them for any other way. For example, 53rd story, 8th page of the story and 92nd word of that page? Does that come to anything? If the story isn't long enough to have 8+ pages, maybe just 8 pages after that story? I've looked and looked for that copy, but I could not find it anywhere, so I was hoping you could clear that up for me.

I never explored other options – I liked the first one (because yay, pretty violin picture!) and ran with it – but you have great ideas, and I really love how your mind works! :D I don’t think the writers would go so far as to write a secret cipher for us fans.
